1. Sultan of Brunei 50th birthday ($27.2 million)
The half a century celebration deserved a proper party. Sultan of Brunei’s 50th birthday party was one of the most expensive parties to have ever been thrown. The peak of the night was Michael Jackson’s concert, while enjoying in the Kong of Pop’s incredible performance the guests were served with expensive caviar and champagne. It is one in a life time experience. Those lucky one who had the opportunity to attend this unique party back in 1996 will wish that the Sultan lives to celebrate his 100birthday in the same spirit.
2. Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Martin party ($10 million)
It is not a novelty among jetsetters and celebrities to throw such a lavish party. Apparently, Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Martin threw the second most expensive arty in the history, or better to say a social event for people to mingle. The price at the time (it was back in 1879) was $369,200 which is close to $10 million nowadays. It was held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City where the guests could drink and eat whatever they wished for. Now, that’s what I call a Party.
3. David Brooks ($10 million)
David brooks, an Israeli defense contractor, spent $10 million on his daughter 13 birthday in order to celebrate her bar mitzvah. His daughter Elizabeth requested live performances by Stevie Nicks, Aerosmith, Ciara and 50 Cent and that was exactly what she got. It was held nowhere else than in the famed Rainbow Room in New York City. Nothing was modest about this party. Aerosmith alone was paid a $1 million to perform – flown in on her father’s company jet. After that David Brooks was arrested for embezzling company funds.
4. Eagles Performance ($6 million)
The Eagles performed at a private party in New York City where they charged $6 million just to play their hit song their hit, “Hotel California.” Not bad at all.

The 60th birthday celebration cost this Texas investor $7 million for having the Rolling Stones sing at his birthday party for just an hour.
6. Naomi Campbell 36th Birthday ($1.8 million)
Naomi really knows how to throw a good party. To her 36 birthday that was held on the exclusive 18-floor Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai she invited other notable people. This party lasted for three days ad had a price range of $1.8 million. What made this party was the fact that it had different themes for every night (all white, samba, hip hop).
7. Paris Hilton 21st Birthday ($75,000 per guest)
One single party wouldn’t be enough for this party girl so she organized a few of them in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tokyo and London. She paid ($75,000 per guest) ensuring that they have a great time on her 21st birthday.
